We have been looking forward to this day since we got here but wanted to wait until Kate arrived before we went there.  Today we visited the Montmartre section of Paris – our favorite part of the city.  

Montmartre is full of artists, spectacular views, music, Sacre Coeur Basilica, and one of our favorite restaurants, Cafe La Mère Catherine. 

We arrived in Montmartre and the crowds were huge.  But it is amazingly beautiful here so we just didn’t care.  The artists are everywhere, and we want to buy from everyone.  We decided to take a break and go to La Mère Catherine and order wine, foie gras, and Vichyssoise.  What a beautiful day in a beautiful place.
