Today is the day

We were so efficient that we drove 200 miles, got the car parked near the Miami Airport, checked our bags, passed through security, and now have hours to wait.  So, time for a little celebratory drink, and try to relax.

Although we successfully got through security, I left my jacket behind.  I was going to blow it off, but Pat returned to security and found a way back in.  Voila, she brings my jacket back.  Isn’t she amazing?!?  (By the way, she wanted me to tell you that I also had to retrieve her purse after leaving it behind.  We are the absolute perfect traveling companions).  Paris will never be the same.

We’re onboard and ready to take off.  Next stop Paris.  We’ve met our flight attendant, Franz, and he’s got everything under control.  Bring on the adult beverages and escargots!
