It is our final day in this inspirational city that opened up to us to show its true nature and passion.  We met so many nice people and saw some incredible sights.  Paris is so beautiful…it just can’t help itself.  

So, today we gather our thoughts and our belongings and prepare for the next journey – Venice, Italy.  

Although there is a lot to do before we leave tomorrow, we did take the time for our daily Continental breakfast.  We will miss this start to the day at Cafe Gustave, and the amazing tastes and smells that have greeted us each morning.

The only thing on the schedule today is preparing for our departure tomorrow morning. Doing some laundry, organizing the suitcase.  We might even get a little rest.  But that’s a heck of a way to spend our last day in Paris.  We should be out enjoying the city but responsibilities hold us back.  This “adulting” stuff is for the birds! 

We’re nearly finished packing and ready to explore our next adventure which begins tomorrow in Italy.  The car picks us up at 4 am so we can make a 7:30 flight.  God willing, our next post will be from Venice, Italy.
