Easter has arrived and our days in France are swiftly coming to an end. This has been such a wonderful time for us but there’s so much more remaining to experience before we travel back to the U.S. Next week, we are heading to Italy, Croatia, Malta, and Spain before making our way home.

As I mentioned, we have reservations this afternoon at a restaurant we wanted to try, Chez Francis. We’re looking forward to spending time with family and friends here in Paris, and enjoying this French Easter Sunday.
There are so many mixed feelings about leaving Paris on Tuesday. We’ve been here for nearly two weeks and have gotten to know the streets, the shops, and the people in the neighborhood. Our apartment, although a little small (especially the bathroom), has become our home while we explored Paris. I know we will be sad to leave and excited about what’s coming in the next two weeks before we fly back to the United States. But today and tomorrow, we have Paris, and will enjoy it as much as humanly possible. We love our neighborhood in Champs de Mars, 7th arrondissement, of this beautiful city.

Our Easter luncheon was perfect! Great wine, wonderful food, the best company, and a view that could not be compared to anywhere else in the world! Happy Easter everyone!
This is an exact replica of the flame from the Statue of Liberty. Princess Diana suffered a fatal car accident in the tunnel just below it so it has since been turned into a memorial adorned with thousands of locks, flowers and photographs.
We were pretty amazed at the artist’s ability to capture us perfectly

Only in Paris can you find a store devoted to lovers of pistachios

Happy Easter! Enjoy your last two days in Paris. I look forward to visiting the next 4 countries with you and seeing ALL your photos when we come down to Florida.
