It’s wild how fast time flies, isn’t it? Here it is Friday – Again!  One minute we’re caught up in the whirlwind of buying our first home, raising a family, walking the dog, building traditions, and chasing careers. Then, in the blink of an eye, everything shifts. Those big, unmoving milestones become mere chapters in a story that speeds by quicker than we ever imagined. And just like that, those days are behind us.

Children grow up and leave home. Careers shift or blend into a life of retirement. Friends move away, loved ones pass on, and the routines we thought would last forever become memories. Time keeps moving, and with it, our priorities change.

And yet, within the flow of time lies the quiet beauty of it all—the laughter around a dinner table, the late-night talks, the small victories, and the simple moments of love that stitch our days together. Though each chapter eventually ends, the story we’ve lived remains ours forever, carried in the hearts we’ve touched and the memories we’ve made. In accepting life’s impermanence, we find the grace to cherish every fleeting moment as it comes, knowing that its very passing is what makes it precious.

What once was urgent becomes trivial, and moments we barely noticed become priceless. Life reminds us, again and again, to pause, to breathe, and to truly see the beauty of what we have—because nothing will stay the same. It’s always changing.

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” – 2 Corinthians 4:18
