There’s something I’ve noticed about our nationwide vote this time around that deserves reflection.

What’s standing out most isn’t party affiliation, but a generational commitment. There seems to be a large and highly motivated group of young voters who are seemingly turning out with a clear purpose. They don’t appear to be undecided or casually engaged. They are dedicated to voting for candidates who represent alternative positions to what this country has long stood for.

This says volumes to me. It reveals a deliberate shift away from the principles that have defined America for more than 250 years. For generations, our nation has been built on traditional values — faith, family, personal responsibility, hard work, limited government, and love of country. These are the values that sustained us through wars, hardship, and prosperity.

What we are seeing now is a generation that is committed to voting against those very foundations. They are embracing alternatives that break from that long history, choosing a different vision for what America should be.

This moment should be a wake-up call for those who still believe in the America that has endured for more than 250 years. If Americans don’t speak up, teach, and vote to preserve those traditional values, there is a  risk they will be replaced entirely. The future of the nation will be decided by whether this alternative vision is allowed to take hold, or whether US citizens recommit themselves to defending the timeless principles that made America exceptional in the first place.

If you haven’t done so yet, make sure you vote. And when you do remember the country and how you want the future to look.  It all depends on what you do or don’t do at the polls.  And while you’re at it, say a little prayer for the protection of the United States of America.
