One minute you are looking at empty hands, wondering how the bills will get paid, how the health scare will turn out, how the loneliness will lift. The pantry feels bare, the heart feels bare. We have all lived in that minute where faith feels thin because need feels so loud, and where you start to wonder if God has forgotten the address.

Then, without warning, the door opens. That is how God has always worked, in suddenness. A phone call comes, a check arrives, a prayer you thought was forgotten gets answered in a way you did not expect. The Red Sea doesn’t part slowly, the tomb doesn’t open gradually, but I n an instant. What was impossible shifts, because God was working in the unseen long before you saw anything change.

And when He moves, He doesn’t just meet the need, He overwhelms it. Your cup does not just get filled to the line, it overflows. The same God who fed thousands with a boy’s lunch and had baskets left over is still in the business of abundance. He gives peace that goes beyond understanding, provision that goes beyond the paycheck, love that keeps spilling over the sides of your life so you have enough to give away.

His timing seldom comes early, but it’s never late. It doesn’t often fit our schedule, but it’s always right. What we call waiting, He calls preparing. So if you are in the minute of not having what you need, just hold on. The next minute is coming. And when it does, you will realize it was worth the wait, because it came suddenly, abundantly, and right on time.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” – Galatians 6:9
